This was extraordinary. I learned so much--even where the territory covered seemed familiar, the discussion offered such a greater depth of understanding, starting right off with the beautifully described personal experience of gender dysphoria that really did help me, at least, have a much better idea of what it is like. I also really appreciated the entire framing: to pull this away from ideology and partisanship and center the science. Which is all to say that I am enormously grateful to the two Aarons for their thoughtful intelligence, courage, and persistence and, as always, to Lisa for everything you do--not to mention using your alternate side parking time so brilliantly!

An excellent interview, thank you Lisa Aaron and Aaron; all the main areas of concern were covered in this and I will be sharing a link to it recommending anyone working with children and teens needs to listen to this. Your description Aaron K of gender dysphoria being similar to the uncomfortable feeling of having your own voice come back at you on a zoom call (it happens to me on cell phone and land line calls) resonated as I hate that and do always have to hang up and call back.
